CincyVoices is meant to be a community resource for the city of Cincinnati. The core tenets of the project are freedom of speech, freedom of information, and building community online. You will find a growing and rotating selection of voices  shared on this website as time goes by, both regular contributors and periodic guest posts.

The common theme of all content is that it concerns the city of Cincinnati. From personal narrative to restaurant reviews all is fair game if it concerns the ‘Nati. As the project is just beginning we are looking for contributors, if you’re interested drop Loki an email with your idea / topic / writing sample. Photographers and videographers are also quite welcome.

CincyVoices is modeled after HumidCity.com a New Orleans team blog project that has been active since 2005 (Pre-Katrina). Both sites are published by SocialGumbo, LLC. Following the same program used on HumidCity we will be inviting voices from Cincinnati’s tapestry of 52 neighborhoods to present a variety of topics and participate in citizen journalism efforts. To aid in this we are active on Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr.
