EcoSculpt on Fountain Square

Apr 14, 2010 by

Ever since the remodel a few years ago Fountain Square has been my favorite downtown spot, I’ve considered it my front yard, and what a yard it is packed continually with friends both old and those yet to be made, the perfect gathering place for the city.
Just to reinforce that thought, Fountain Square’s mission statement includes this,
” we will make Fountain Square a place where people from all walks of life feel welcome, a catalyst for economic development, and a sign of Cincinnati’s rebirth.”
If for whatever reason you find yourself on the square with nothing to talk about, running now through the 29th is EcoSculpt marking the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.

After you checked the sculptures out, go here and vote for your favorite. I’d say vote for Kevin White’s Angry Alligator, but I bet Atlas Recycled wins by a landslide.
