Fountain Day and Opening Day Parade

Apr 7, 2010 by

In a city where seemingly every baby is born holding a 3-way and people can say corn-hole without cracking a smile theres not much a Cincinnati transplant can grab in this town to fit in. This past weekend though, Fountain Day and the Opening Day Parade were two events that anyone, young or old, city born native or recently relocated can understand and apreciate. With Fountain Day we celebrated the return of water to the Tyler Davidson Fountain and of course the parade celebrated the return of the Reds and the baseball season.

We really couldn’t have asked for a better weekend, spring arrived in a timely manner for both events.

It all kicked off Saturday night with a few words by Vice Mayor Roxanne Qualls
