It was a Kroger commercial, two housewives chatting over coffee, one saying to the other, "Those farmers' markets are so expensive!", and then the commercial went on to show Kroger's current specials. Kroger should be ashamed. Can't they pick on someone their own size? I think the pricing comment is unfair and untrue, their organics are way more expensive than a farmers' market, not even considering Kroger's huge carbon footprints! I tried some, not expecting much, nad was pleasantly surprised. When I asked the girl at the counter about it she said that their guy who makes it is from Alexandria in Louisiana. So there you have it, a bit of trivia. Kroeger Meats does authentic andouille.
